longhaired freaky person asked:
It was a typical Republican sleaze campaign tactic, but I wonder how many people actually believe it after the election.

I’m not afraid he will sell out the country because he’s a muslim… I’m afraid he will ruin this country because of his socialistic ideals… Everyone Republican, Democrat and Independent, should be very afraid of this man.

I believe time will tell on that issue. I also believe he is not the messiah but our country is in more jeopardy than people realize.
Pre-election, post election, presidency, oh yeh he is in now, watch out!

I don’t think that. He’s just a democrat. That means there wouldn’t be any difference between him an a republican.

I think that he will be a great leader and that the ****** negativity should end. I am sure you would probably prefer Bush have another chance, McCain to have been elected or… anyone else of that race to be in office…. Get over it.. My answer.. nothing to admit but YOU are afraid to admit he may be the only elected president thus far to do things the right way… –

only a goof ball would believe that.
but i would not blame that on republicans in general any more than i would blame democrats for the lies told about palin.
both presidential candidates took a stand against that kind of harsh rhetoric, but they cannot be held accountable for what kooks say on their behalf.
all they can do is denounce it.
*edit* does the poster above me lack the desire or ability to read? her answer lacks credibility.

You are a true idiot. Not only do I believe that he will sell out America, I think it is a matter of time before he does. Want proof? he did us a favor by putting it in writing:
From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

I don’t think he’s a secret Muslim, nor did I during the campaign. What concerned me was the hateful pastor (which I knew about long before the “God Damn America” clip made it onto the news) and that he took far too long to renounce him.
But, I’m willing to give Obama a chance, because he has a tough economic crisis to solve.
