Domi asked:

I’m 17 and I’m really interested in the whole idea of buying items in bulk/wholesale and selling them on for profit.

I have no idea where to start, where to buy wholesale goods from, just basically all about selling on wholesale.

Any books/websites where I can learn?

I am only interested in selling things that are the best in their own right. Things like the CC radio series, leatherman tools, and the like. Please tell me what you want, why it is the best and why I should try to be able to sell it. I appreciate your feedback, seriously.

I know someone selling replica items as real items and they are just buying them offline and reselling them for triple. I found the website. The Ed Hardy shirts they sell cost 15$ and they sell them for 45$. They also do not have a business license..
They are selling all kinds of items, Jordan shoes, chanel purses.

Tactics for negotiating with salespeople at The Brick?

April 8th, 2009 | Posted in Other - Business & Finance   Comments Off
Ryan L asked:

Does anybody have any tactics for negotiating with the salespeople at The Brick (furniture store)? I am looking at buying an expensive new mattress, but I haven’t yet been able to get them down to a price I am happy with. I think I had a reasonable number in mind and the salesperson wouldn’t budge from about $50 below the price he originally offered it to me at. Is there anything I can do to get myself a better deal?

In case it comes up, I already have a Brick card. I realize that I may not be in the best position that way, as I am guessing that the salespeople get some kind of bonus if they sell me on a Brick card.
